A couple of days on Facebook

  • Ben is 5 months old.
  • Phil saw the Losers movie and gave it a solid B. It looked good on the previews.
  • Susan traveled 2000 miles to visit Sarah so they could IM each other from opposite ends of the same couch.
  • Nerdy Dragon is pitching the Nerdy Bird.
  • Nikki likes I wasn't grumpy until you accused me of being grumpy. now i'm just pissed.
  • Ellen says Aug 11, Heart at Innsbrook. I'm gonna date myself and mention that I saw them twice about 35 years ago.
  • Rebecca says it's 75 and mostly sunny, it's a shame to have to go to work.
  • Patrick is playing Call to Arms. How's your own game coming along?
  • Paul says he's finding it very difficult tp get out of bed this morning... Why do I smell pina coladas? Then he jumped right into Mafia Wars.
  • Andy read Chapter 5 of "Organizational Design and Theory" and that managed to cure his sleep disorder.
  • It's American Craft Beer week. Not just a day, a whole week.
  • Bob went to the Simian tasting at Brewforia on Saturday. Sorry I missed it.
  • The * Buttons (keeping it clean here) were in Seattle on Sunday. Ambient electronic death metal. Missed it.
  • Cherie could disagree with you about almost everything and still like you. I'm like that. Hi Steve!
  • Derek says it's hard to lose weight when it's American Craft Beer week. Shoot, it's just hard to lose weight. Period.
  • Andrew is trying to get some work done at home toda... Squirrel!

  • Carin says this week has been entirely too long already.

Old chemo no longer working, tumor markers are elevated, lesion in liver slightly larger so off to new chemo this week. Infusion of Avastin and an oral chemo. Every two week, same side effects as other chemos...crap there goes my newly grown in curly do! Depressed at the moment but I will recover sense of humor soon. What else can I do?" I love you, sweetie. We'll get through this.

  • Upgrade to Ubuntu 10.04 went pretty smooth, although the usual crap: the upgrade uninstalled apps I'd specifically installed.
