  • Jana says you know you had an interesting night when you wake up with a ticket from the cops that says you were found nude in a tree. I suppose that's interesting, if you actually remember it.
  • Sarah noticed that it's Tuesday. Thanks for the cake.
  • U2 is getting high in Toronto. Why am I following them?
  • Bob is playing FarmVille. Elsewhere, he's wondering why he can't grow hops in FarmVille?
  • Gabe is back from elk hunting in Oregon. A Tim McGraw song made him... well... you can read his post yourself. Or not.
  • Several people posted that this is the first day of fall. Summer is officially over. I still vote we call it "Football" instead of "Fall".
  • Chuck says spike for wishes. I think this is a reference to the request for volleyball players for the Make a Wish fund drive that was mentioned yesterday.
  • Martha says "The Peaceful Warrior" is now a movie. I couldn't get through the book, I thought it was a little sappy. I know many will disagree with me.
  • Martha also posted a link to a Buble video on youtube.
  • Sandie says she's happy to be here. With her grandsons.
  • Paul is loading up on medicine.
  • Tammy went to Doc-in-the-box. I don't know what that is.
  • Keoni quoted Lillian Hellman: "People change and forget to tell each other." You have to pay attention, women are the worst for doing that.
  • Amy is looking for a night riding light for her bike.
  • Susan is irritated. She promised to burn the Bengal shirt, but I think she's irritated about money.
  • Kristin is spent. Las Vegas will do that to you.
  • U2 again. On a side note, the best website in the universe has a NSFW review of How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.
  • Paul, sick as he is, is still playing Mafia Wars. His body count is 539.
  • Wanda got a positive thought from Candace: "There is a calmness to a life lived in gratitude, a quiet joy."
  • Ron says real men eat video tape. Ellen wonders what that means. Me too.
  • Pam says Valerie is a person who is talented, ingenuous, and caring. I don't think I know this Valerie.
  • Ellen's horoscope says to seek "win, win" situations. Um, does anyone seek out "lose, lose" situations?
  • Michael is playing Mafia Wars. His body count is only 50. Paul is way ahead.
  • Jana references a DDOS at an undisclosed datacenter. I checked, my website is up.
  • Cherie is looking for a French Bulldog. In real life, I think.
  • Amy prays: "God, please help me keep my big mouth shut." Commenters doubt that will happen.
  • Bob says Rick Boyd, who put together the beer fest at Ann Morrison in August, is doing an Oktoberfest on Oct 10. Should be worth a visit.
  • John woke up with cat scratch fever.
  • Bob mentions that the only thing better than a Bastard is a Double Bastard. This is a beer reference. I haven't had the double.
  • Yes, yes, the Packers lost, I got it.
  • Polly posted pics, her daughter is home from Iraq. Good news!
  • Ellen is looking for her brain. I haven't seen it around here.
  • Doug is at a high school swim meet.
  • Phil missed a great football game last night, and wonders how the Colts prevailed over Miami. Laser rocket arm QB, that's how.
  • Margot is playing FarmVille.
  • Candace says happiness is available to you. I'm looking for the jumbo size, my wife could use some of that.
  • Kristina is playing poker, Carla is playing Mafia Wars. I write snarky comments in the middle of the night.
  • Rebecca had a horrible trip to the dentist.
