Facebook has changed, or you have. Way less updates than there used to be. Several days worth of updates here.

  • Cherie is looking for another project to get excited about.
  • Doug says Flat Larry hosts the Life's Kitchen Sparkling Wine spectacular. I thought of vampires when I read this.
  • Cherie ran out of index cards for to-do lists, so she has nowhere to write "buy index cards". Bummer.
  • Sarah is bummed. She's looking for Tim's Dill Pickle Chips. They haven't been made since 2007, so if you find them they'll be old and stale.
  • Collective Soul, December.
  • QOTD from Candace: You are capable of more than you know. Choose a goal that seems right for you and strive to be the best, however hard the path. Aim high. Behave honorably. Prepare to be alone at times, and to endure failure. Persist! The world needs all you can give. ~Edward O. Wilson
  • Ed has retired from playing Mafia Wars. Dude, it looks like you have a 'fro in your pic.
  • Chris is trying to install Win7. I'd push Ubuntu at you, but it won't game like you want.
  • QOTD from Pam: Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. Dr. Seuss. Like!
  • Tracey is feeling blessed, she may have her mojo back.
  • Wanda is proud of her nephew for his work in set design. Rave reviews.
  • Sarah is thankful for her house.
  • Susan is thankful for her family.
  • Martha is hitting the bead store.
  • Linda is thankful for me. I've got to read FB more often! I love you, sweetie.
  • Ed is thankful for a good nights sleep.
  • Doug says references to Canada as "America's Hat" are frowned upon. The correct terminology is gateway to Alaska.
  • Rebecca says the best thing about today (which was yesterday) is in the actors studio with Bon Jovi.
  • Megan thinks it's weird to work on a Tuesday. I think Tuesdays are the best, no meetings.
  • Julia is hooked on the Kingdoms of Camelot game.
  • Susan: sigh.
  • Ellen is sick.
  • Cherie cancelled an appt with her son's shrink. Cancelled? Canceled? I'm never sure of the spelling.
  • Rebecca has leftover Wolf Lodge Steak.
  • Jana is on TV tonight. Wait, that was last night. I missed it.
  • Chris is fetching Windows 7 Ultimate 64. Good luck!
  • Ken has been watching WWII on the History channel. Some shots of Kwaj. I've seen those pics, nothing but blown up palm trees. Nothing like 1969. Or 2009.
  • QOTD from Candace, I like this one a lot: ¸.·´¯`·.¸¸><((((º> ¸.·´¯`·.¸¸><((((º>I don't need to completely understand the big picture to know that my role is important. I don't have to know the destination to know I'm headed in the right direction. Though I may not know where I am going, I'm not lost, I am exploring.¸.·´¯`·.¸¸><((((º> ¸.·´¯`·.¸¸><((((º> ~Jana Stanfield.
  • Sarah is watching the most bizarrely entertaining movie, Mozart and the Whale. There are no whales in Austria.
  • Susan is thankful for her job. Me too.
  • Sarah is thankful for moving on.
  • Linda is thankful that it is not chemo day. That is tomorrow. Sorry.
  • Doug says Hump Day begins with some less than satisfactory 10 grains. Um, don't eat them, brew with them.
  • Tammy says faith makes all things possible. I agree, but I bet you have a different take on faith than I do.
  • Carla is thankful for her friends, old and new.
  • Martha, just go. Tracy is a good guy, things will be alright while you're gone.
  • Ed is thankful like Carla for his friends, both old and new. Personally, I'd never have reconnected with many of you without FB. Weird, huh?
  • Tracy's flight was cancelled. (Canceled?) Kona coffee, nice!
  • Devin asks if anyone has access to one of those outdoor propane heaters. I've got turkey fryer's too, but no, not for lending, sorry.
  • Julia's med cert class went well.
  • Nikki says let's see how many people on FB aren't ashamed to show their love of -- oops, sorry no religious comments, I want no trouble.
  • Amy gained two hours!
  • Cherie says that $400 later, Mattie's teeth are clean and her lump is benign. Mattie is a dog, right?
  • Michael: Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Kiarra, Happy Birthday to YOU. Indeed.
  • Susan says pumpkin cake is as if pumpkin pie and carrot cake had babies. I'm pretty sure it's spelled 'punkin'. If not, it should be.
  • Sam says it's getting hot! Long weekend coming and the pool is looking inviting. Grr.
  • Ellen: There was a young lady named Kite...whose speed was much faster than light...she left home one day ... in a relative way ...and returned on the previous night. Geek humor, better than turkey humor for sure.
  • Carin has 1 more day of work, then 10 days off. I hope I get a day off in the next 10, but I doubt it.
  • Sarah says it's super cool that Ben is having hiccups.
  • Kristina wonders if it's the weekend yet. No, not until tomorrow.
  • Dee says, "Whew. Just did my first oral argument in front of a Court of Appeals panel. Not so bad really, just a chat with three folks in black dresses." Were they witches?
  • Chris got that Win7 box up and running.
  • Ron says, "Stressful few days, mind is gone. . .endless goto loop with an un-dimensioned for-to-len statement in there somewhere! (just no pokes & peeks!) assembly required! lol" Old school geek humor!
